{"id":971,"date":"2008-04-02T00:34:01","date_gmt":"2008-04-02T05:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=971"},"modified":"2008-07-22T01:32:36","modified_gmt":"2008-07-22T06:32:36","slug":"were-up-to-a-dozen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=971","title":{"rendered":"We&#8217;re up to a dozen&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I now have <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Dozen\">twelve<\/a> translations of &#8220;Space Elevator&#8221; on the Translation Project tab at the top of this blog.<\/p>\n<p>One of the latest ones is the Dutch translation (<strong>ruimtelift<\/strong>) provided by reader Simon Vanden Bussche.\u00a0 I&#8217;m singling Simon&#8217;s contribution\u00a0out because he\u00a0wrote an article\u00a0for &#8216;Euroavia News&#8217;, the newspaper of the European Association of Aerospace Students (Euroavia) and also <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.simonvdb.be\/pr_spaceelevator.php\">posted<\/a> on his blog,\u00a0discussing the Space Elevator and also talking about the First European Space Elevator Conference held last September in Luxembourg.\u00a0 At the bottom of his posting, he <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/news.bbc.co.uk\/2\/hi\/science\/nature\/7038702.stm\">links<\/a> to one of the more comprehensive articles I&#8217;ve seen about the recent advances in carbon nanotube technology.<\/p>\n<p>Thank you Simon!\u00a0 And thank you to the many others who have sent me translations &#8211; keep them coming!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I now have twelve translations of &#8220;Space Elevator&#8221; on the Translation Project tab at the top of this blog.
