In this posting<\/a>, we ‘meet’ LaserMotive’s Tom Nugent.\u00a0 For most of us in the Space Elevator ‘community’, this is a very familiar name.\u00a0 He was the research director at Liftport<\/a> and his name was as nearly synonymous with the company as is Michael Laine’s.<\/p>\n

I’ve known Tom for some time now and can vouch for the fact that he is a genuine good guy.\u00a0 He’s always eager to help and is always eager to do whatever he can to further the concept of a Space Elevator.\u00a0 He’s a family man and a proud pappa and, in this posting<\/a>, we learn about his education and experiences.<\/p>\n
