{"id":527,"date":"2007-02-10T00:38:15","date_gmt":"2007-02-10T06:38:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=527"},"modified":"2007-02-10T00:38:15","modified_gmt":"2007-02-10T06:38:15","slug":"sesi2007-program-highlights-and-schedule-released","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=527","title":{"rendered":"SESI2007 Program Highlights and Schedule released"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img decoding=\"async\"  src=\"\/media\/SESI2007Logo.jpg\" class=\"alignleft\" \/>The website for the upcoming Space Exploration 2007 conference has been updated with a new document; &#8220;Program Highlights and Schedule&#8221;.\u00a0 You can find it on their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sesinstitute.org\/\">website<\/a> (under the Current Conference tab) or you can find it <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sesinstitute.org\/current.html\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This conference\u00a0will have\u00a0presentations from both the &#8220;Space Elevator&#8221;\u00a0and the &#8220;Science, Engineering and Habitation in Space&#8221;\u00a0communities\u00a0 It&#8217;s a single-track conference; i.e., it will be possible to hear all the presentations.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Program is exciting; addresses from such Space Elevator stalwarts as Dr. Brad Edwards, Dr. Bryan Laubscher, and Ben Shelef are scheduled.\u00a0 In addition, other Space-Elevator-themed presentations will occur.<\/p>\n<p>I plan on being there as both presenter and blogger (hopefully live-blogger).<\/p>\n<p>Dr. David Livingston from The Space Show will also be there;\u00a0I&#8217;m very much looking forward to meeting him.\u00a0 Dr. Livingston interviews luminaries from across the &#8220;Space&#8221; spectrum.\u00a0 He has interviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=317\">Dr. Brad Edwards<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Liftport&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=131\">Michael Laine<\/a> and has recently interviewed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=506\">Dr. Bryan Laubscher<\/a>, one of the organizers of this conference.\u00a0 And, don&#8217;t forget, he will be interviewing\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=523\">Ken Davidian<\/a> (NASA&#8217;s man behind the\u00a0Space Elevator Games)\u00a0this coming Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Make your reservations soon.\u00a0 If you want to know what the current state of affairs in the &#8220;Space Elevator world&#8221; are and you want to discuss them with those in the know, this is the place to be.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s going\u00a0to be\u00a0an exciting 3&#038;1\/2 days&#8230;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The website for the upcoming Space Exploration 2007 conference has been updated with a new document; &#8220;Program Highlights and Schedule&#8221;.\u00a0 You can find it on their website (under the Current Conference tab) or you can find it here.
