Technology Assessment and Space Elevators Components<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The recently completed IAA study, &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1594\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Space Elevators &#8211; Feasibility and Next Steps<\/strong><\/a>&#8221; looked at engineering, operational, and funding steps towards an operational capability. This session will evaluate the current and near-term potential of the necessary technologies. They will be evaluated with respect to the NASA TRL\u2019s and identify risks associated.
