{"id":1502,"date":"2012-01-09T17:25:04","date_gmt":"2012-01-09T23:25:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1502"},"modified":"2012-02-14T00:52:12","modified_gmt":"2012-02-14T06:52:12","slug":"its-finally-here","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1502","title":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s finally here!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"\/media\/CLIMBVol1No1Pix002.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/tn_CLIMBVol1No1Pix002.jpg\" class=\"alignleft\"  \/><\/a>The first issue of ISEC&#8217;s Space Elevator Journal is now here!\u00a0 Volume 1 \/ Number 1 (publication date &#8211; December, 2011) is hot off the presses and will soon be sent out to all ISEC members (past and present) and Journal contributors.<\/p>\n<p>The Journal consists of 8 peer-reviewed Papers plus some additional articles that I think our readers will enjoy.\u00a0 If I do say so myself, the content level of this Journal is quite high.\u00a0 We&#8217;re now working on making it available in ePub format and then will begin to plan for the next volume of the Journal.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/media\/CLIMBVol1No1Pix003.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/tn_CLIMBVol1No1Pix%20003.jpg\" width=\"200\" class=\"alignright\" height=\"146\"  \/><\/a>As mentioned earlier, all members of ISEC will be receiving this Journal in the mail soon.\u00a0 If you are not a member of ISEC but want to purchase a copy, it will also soon be available on the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.isec.org\" target=\"_blank\">ISEC website<\/a>.\u00a0 But rather than buy it there, why not join ISEC instead?
