{"id":1186,"date":"2009-04-14T00:05:06","date_gmt":"2009-04-14T05:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1186"},"modified":"2009-04-14T00:05:59","modified_gmt":"2009-04-14T05:05:59","slug":"david-williams-has-a-new-book","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1186","title":{"rendered":"David Williams has a new book&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"\/media\/TheMirroredHeavens.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/tn_TheMirroredHeavens.jpg\" class=\"alignleft\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\"  \/><\/a>In June of last year, I <a href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1028\" target=\"_blank\">blogged<\/a> about a new book, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Mirrored-Heavens-David-J-Williams\/dp\/0553591568\/ref=pd_bbs_3?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1239670591&amp;sr=8-3\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>The Mirrored Heavens<\/em><\/strong><\/a>, by newcomer David Williams.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve only recently been able to begin reading the book and, while I&#8217;m not finished with it yet, I can safely say that the first section of the book is non-stop, pulse-pounding action.\u00a0 Truly, it gets your motor running&#8230;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/media\/TheBurningSkies.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"\/media\/tn_TheBurningSkies.jpg\" class=\"alignright\" width=\"200\" height=\"200\"  \/><\/a>I bring this up now because David has a new book in his future histories series coming out, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Burning-Skies-David-J-Williams\/dp\/0553385429\/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&amp;s=books&amp;qid=1236180820&amp;sr=1-1;\" target=\"_blank\"><strong><em>The Burning Skies<\/em><\/strong><\/a>.\u00a0 From the book&#8217;s description:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;In his electrifying debut, <strong>The Mirrored Heavens<\/strong><\/em><em>, David J.
