height: 99px\" \/>If you wander over to the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.spaceward.org\">Spaceward website<\/a>, you&#8217;ll see that its proud owner, Ben Shelef, has been very, very busy&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>Spaceward, for those of you who don&#8217;t know, is the organization\u00a0which partners with <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.nasa.gov\">NASA<\/a>\u00a0to host the Space Elevator Games.\u00a0 While NASA provides the $4 Million in prize money, Spaceward is the organization that has to do all the work.\u00a0 They have to find a venue (different and more difficult <a href=\"\/media\/Spaceward_JP_Graphic.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" width=\"140\" src=\"\/media\/tn_Spaceward_JP_Graphic.png\" height=\"200\" style=\"width: 140px; height: 200px\" \/><\/a>each year because of the increasingly complexity of the competition), recruit and support the teams, write the rules, actually put on the event, judge the results, publicize what they&#8217;re doing, etc., etc., etc&#8230;.\u00a0 The amount of publicity this event garners though is huge and worldwide and there can be little doubt that the Spaceward Space Elevator Games are one of the\u00a0premier events in the Space Elevator world.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, back to their website.\u00a0 To help support Japan&#8217;s first <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/www.jsea.jp\">Space Elevator conference<\/a>, Spaceward has had much of its web content translated into Japanese, this to help the Japanese public in their understanding of this revolutionary technology.\u00a0 If you visit their website, note the tiny American and <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" width=\"132\" src=\"\/media\/JapanFlag.jpg\"  height=\"87\" style=\"width: 132px; height: 87px\" \/>Japanese flags at the top-left and the arrow in between.\u00a0 Pointing to that graphic and then clicking on the flag that pops up will send you to the &#8216;other language&#8217; website.\u00a0 Ben hasn&#8217;t had everything translated into Japanese yet, but\u00a0much of it is.\u00a0 This should help &#8216;spread the word&#8217;
