{"id":1070,"date":"2008-08-13T00:53:54","date_gmt":"2008-08-13T05:53:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1070"},"modified":"2008-08-13T01:30:05","modified_gmt":"2008-08-13T06:30:05","slug":"iron-man-to-build-the-space-elevator","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.spaceelevatorblog.com\/?p=1070","title":{"rendered":"Iron Man to build the Space Elevator!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"\/media\/IronMan.jpg%22\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" width=\"200\" src=\"\/media\/tn_IronMan.jpg\"  height=\"158\" style=\"width: 200px; height: 158px\" \/><\/a>I&#8217;m not a big comic book fan, and haven&#8217;t kept up with all of the creations in the Marvel Universe.\u00a0 However, even I have heard of Tony Stark, aka the\u00a0<strong>Iron Man<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Evidentally, he&#8217;s outlived his usefulness, so\u00a0his demise\u00a0may be\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"http:\/\/boblayton.com\/newstheendpreivew.html\">in the works<\/a>.\u00a0 In November, Marvel Comics is\u00a0scheduled to release &#8220;<em>Iron Man: The End<\/em>&#8221; in which:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p><em>&#8220;Decades in the future, a 70+ Tony Stark is overseeing his ultimate project of his lauded career\u2014the completion of Earth\u2019s first commercial space elevator, whose inauguration will change the world\u2019s economy and the future of space exploration forever. However, not everyone is looking forward to this project\u2019s launch with the same enthusiasm as the head of Stark Universal.
